Scentsy Buddy Review & A Giveaway

 You all know by now how much I LOVE Scentsy!

So when Misty contacted me about doing a review for a Scentsy Buddy I was thrilled. I have had my eye on these adorable aroma animals for months and my girls have begged and begged to have them for their rooms. Today I ate a Rainbow Review & Giveaway

 Today I Ate A Rainbow kit contains an interactive chart

that encourages kids (and their parents) to eat a rainbow of

fruits and vegetables everyday. The Rainbow Bunch,

book teaches young children why it's important to

  eat a rainbow! Today I Ate A Rainbow provides parents

with tools to help set healthy eating habits!

It was alot of fun for "H" to see the types of food

she was eating throughout the day by colors and 

helped me to remember to add a few more fruits to 

her meals. I make sure my children get a great 

variety of fruits and vegetables..but have they 

been getting their daily needs?

We decided to take pictures of each meal this day

and see how we were doing...

Breakfast: She is a very slow and picky eater. 

Today she had some bananas, apples, juice

and a granola bar to take on the way to the bus.

Lunch: she loves sliced tomatoes.. then

we added green beans and grapes 

to go with her chicken

We forgot to take pictures of her

after school snack: She had a glass of

Milk, some multi-grain goldfish and a sliced kiwi!

Dinner: Roast, mash potatoes, peaches, 

plum and a noodle salad that has broccoli 

and cauliflower in it...and a glass of milk!

It was fun and exciting for her to put a new

magnet on the chart each time she ate a new

fruit, we also used the shopping list to add

a new variety of foods we needed to have on hand. 

At the end of the day, she was full of smiles as 

she was able to add her "Today I ate a Rainbow"

magnet to the chart.

All the kids have loved this chart. 

The only thing I think that would be perfect

for this chart is to have it laminated.

With kids it can get wore down in a hurry 

especially on the front of the fridge!

Its been a great teaching tool for my

children and they love to see if I have done

my job each time I put a meal on the table. 

I have never seen so much excitement about

eating their fruits & veggies. They all love them

which I am blessed they do, I know many kids

don't, but its great to make sure we are eating

the variety needed!
